I invite you to join an individual wine course. Over the past four years, more than 100 participants have completed it. It is always a joy to meet them later at tastings or in wine regions, and to see how far they have progressed and how much knowledge they have gained.
Format of the course:
For 1–2 individuals, or for a private group of up to 6 friends.
Course structure:
Part One – Theoretical: in the comfort of your home, with provided study materials.
Part Two – Practical: at my home in Bratislava, in a living room setting, or I can come to you.
Duration: 3 hours.
Scheduling:you choose your own date within 6 months of purchase.
Validity:6 months from the date of purchase.
After payment, you will receive study materials (50 pages) by email, and then we will arrange our in-person meeting (in Bratislava free of charge; outside Bratislava + travel costs). With your purchase you also receive an electronic gift voucher, valid for 6 months, which you can give to someone else.
The course is open to participants aged 18 and over.
Price:
1–2 persons: €240 +VAT, includes study materials (50 pages emailed), 2 samples of quality wine, 3-hour personal session, and a Junior Sommelier Certificate of Completion. Group up to 6 persons: €640 + VAT exempt, includes study materials, 4 samples of quality wine, 4-hour personal session, and a Junior Sommelier Certificate of Completion.
During the in-person session you will:
Complete a short written test (based on the study materials).
Practice sensory wine tasting and proper wine service.
Taste a selection of interesting wines.
Discuss any wine-related topics that interest you.
At the end, you will receive your official Certificate of Completion – Junior Sommelier.
